my older brother decided to get married… he asked if i would be in his wedding party. i accepted and in turn offered to do the bride’s makeup, and volunteered my boyfriend to style the bride’s hair AKA her own personal gay glamsquad (every bride should have one)

we packed up, and set off to CODY, WYOMING (founded by William “Buffalo Bill” Cody) for a wild-wild-west wedding adventure!

arrived in Cody, had a BBQ @ my brothers house… checked into the most AMAZING inn… i didn’t want to leave. it’s fantastic, and the history is amazing. check their site.

met up w/ my brother to go bar-hopping. i thought i’d be hate-crimed for sure, but my big bro kept sticking up for me… it was sweet how protective he was!

the next day we went to the Buffalo Bill Historical Center which was totally tits! lots of guns, native american art, and other random wild-west fancyness. but, my focus was on all the sweet taxidermy. only got a few shots… i forgot to charge my phone. oops!

didn’t take many photos of the ceremony / reception… my boyfriend was taking those, so i should probably get ‘em… and add them. but, since it took me a month to post these… i wouldn’t hold your breath!

oh, why are there not any TACO JOHN’S in SLC? the cheese quesadilla is MEXcellent!

13 hours of driving through stupid nevada with zero 3G service (F&$K YOU, AT&T) i made it back home to SLC.

my BFF jared came out to help me drive back. but… i ended up doing all of the driving because uhaul trailors be SCARY!

went out with Amy + Jessica before we took off – originally planned on SUPPERCLUB but after picking up Jared from the airport, getting back to my house, and thinking about it… we weren’t hip to that scene!

Jared and I got a hotel in the city… we met up with Amy and Jessica and went to BOOTIE. mistake on my part… free drinks + old fling showing up = hot mess blackout. c’est la ville!

slept most of the day sunday (cheap vodka hangovers are the worst!) after suprise attacking Amy @ her house to get breakfast. drank champagne on the sidewalk while waiting for a table… yeah, real classy.

packed up, moved on out. i’m not going on a road trip for a VERY long time – so don’t even ask!

been back for 2 weeks… it’s weird. familiar. removing myself from my comfort zone definately made me more independant, and self-sufficient. it’s a challenge to not fall back into the comfort of bad behaviors. but, school will be starting soon. yay!

looking for an apartment. living out of boxes. adjusting to life back in utah…. oh, and a cute boy has caught my attention.

going to design some business cards ‘cuz i hate not having them!
